Sidney Ross has the
distinction of being Liverpool's first choice goalkeeper
during the clubs first ever season. Ross made 24
appearances for the club during the 1892-93 season in
which Liverpool played in the Lancashire League.
Liverpool won the league, and promotion to the Football
League Division Two. However, before the start of
the 1893 season Ross left the club, therefore never
making a league appearance for the club. |
